Facilities and resources
Our school offers a range of spaces and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.
Our school facilities
We offer a range of well-resourced learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities include:
- lakeside learning
- spacious and bright classrooms
- a well-stocked library for reading and research
- sports fields for fitness and fun
- music and performance spaces for creative learning
- modern computer lab for digital learning
- an award winning garden and environmental programs.
Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
Creative Arts room
We have a dedicated creative arts room which all students visit on a weekly basis. This room is stocked with plenty of musical resources, including glockenspiels and ukuleles.
Technology
Students have access to a computer lab with enough computers for a whole class. 3-6 students also have access to laptops for educational use. Other digital learning tools we use include 3D printers, robots and robotic lego.
Bright and comfortable classrooms
Our classrooms are large, welcoming spaces where students can happily engage in their learning.
All classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with interactive technology.
School Oval
The school oval is situated on the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie and is a fantastic place for fitness and fun. Students can borrow equipment from the sports shed to use at break times.
Play spaces
Our students are incredibly lucky to have a variety of spaces to play at break times. These spaces include a fairy garden, basketball court, fixed equipment, oval, COLA and library.
Tiers of structured play ensures every child's interest is catered for and they are supported in making life long friends through play.
Award winning garden
Our school garden has won multiple gardening competitions.
The garden supplements our learning and environmental programs. Students can garden during break and learn about growing plants and vegetables.
Library
All students visit our well-resourced library every week and have the opportunity to borrow. Highlights on the library calendar each year include the Book Parade and National Simultaneous Storytime.
